Refractive surgery refers to procedures that correct refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism), letting you reduce or eliminate your reliance on glasses or contact lenses.

Visual Correction Options

1. Contoura Vision / Custom LASIK: Custom-guided laser treatment that smooths out microscopic irregularities on your cornea, often delivering vision better than 6/6.
2. PRK / TransPRK (Surface Ablation): A blade-free, flapless procedure ideal for patients with thinner corneas or active lifestyles.
3. ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens): A micro-thin lens implanted permanently inside the eye, behind the iris. This is the gold standard for patients with high spectacle powers or thin corneas who are not suitable for LASIK.

Pre-LASIK Evaluation

We perform a rigorous 2-hour diagnostic screening before recommending any laser correction:

• Pentacam corneal tomography mapping
• Dry eye evaluation
• Pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement)
• Dilated retinal examination to verify peripheral retina health
